Pakistan vs New Zealand

Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd ODI Highlights – 11th Jan 2023

News

After drawing the Test series 0-0, Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the ODI series with a fairly comfortable 6-wicket win. Naseem Shah continued his good form and picked a maiden 5-fer, while fifties from Fakhar, Babar and Rizwan ensured the target was chased down with 11 balls to spare.

Most of New Zealand’s batters got starts but none could convert them into a big score and that is something they will have to do to keep the series alive. The pitches too become better for batting under lights in subcontinental conditions and for that the toss becomes a big factor. Is it once again going to be ‘win toss and chase’? Or something different? We’ll know soon.
